I cannot believe they’re actually going with these horribly cyan cases. Urgh. Just looking at them makes me feel nauseous.

They do certainly look nasty, in cheap plastic. It doesn’t say Nintendo to me – though, that may have been part of the design intent.

@3: Don’t forget that walk-in business is big for Nintendo, in particular. so concerns about suitability of promotional content to the widest audience, is a legitimate point to raise.
It does seem unpleasantly graphic, when you bear in mind that edits were made to Dead Island’s cover in some locales, and that merely featured a hanged man’s silhouette in the logo.
