Four more titles lose online support from Sony

Sony has pulled online multiplayer support for four more games, with servers shutting down at various times. Here’s the list: The Eye of Judgment Legend (PSP) – August 31; MotorStorm Pacific Rift (PS3), MotorStorm Arctic Edge (PSP), and SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3 (PSP) – October 1. Most of the PSP stuff I can understand… but Pacific Rift? Really?

@3 i was on it 3 weeks ago and it still had a healthy 10k people playing, know idea why they would shut it down

Heck, I still boot it up every so often. I much prefer it to Apocalypse, honestly.

Maybe they feel that older games within a franchise hold back sales of newer ones? Kind of the way EA shuts down Sports support after a year and half. Either way kind of sad, like you guys I think it make sense for some games, but not others.
