17-BIT “shooting for a day one release,” for Skulls of Shogun with Windows 8
17-BIT has said it’s “shooting for a day one release,” with Windows 8 for Skulls of Shogun. Microsoft announced yesterday Windows 8 would release on October 26.

“The plan is to sim-ship on Win 8 desktop, and both versions of Surface, Windows Phone 7 and XBLA in the same week,” 17-bit’s Jake Kazdal told
Joystiq. “We’re certainly shooting for day one release with Win 8, and it looks very likely, but nothing is set in stone yet.”
Last month, it was announced the turn-based strategy title would launch simultaneously on Xbox Live Arcade, Windows 8, Surface, and Windows Phone to allow for four-player cooperative play across the platforms.
