@1 Pfft. Dead or Alive is awesome.

Although this guy looks like he’s going to be the game’s obligatory Cheapo McCheapass.

I’m primarliy a Tekken chap myself most of the time, but really i’ll gladly stick a vote in for DOA anyday; it’s cliche’ but it’s true – i’ve always found the game to be highly accessible, but difficult to master.

It’s essentially a masterclass in timing and counter-reflexology.

To underscore that fact, it’s one of the only fighting games that me and the better half can actually play against each other on a fairly even standing despite her relative inexperience with the genre.

Needless to say, i’m looking forward to this, but Rig can largely fuck off based on what i’ve seen of him.

I’ve bought alot of fighting games in the past, even SFIV and SSFIV and i played them for awhile but soon they landed on the stack of games that are never to be played again. I really like the changes they’ve brought for this DOA with the dramatic camera and stuff but i’m not gonna buy it, i know it will end up on that stack of games once again…plus, i simply suck at fighting games.

I love Tekken and even Soul Calibur (excepto for IV) but DOA always had two things extra that made me go for it instead of the previous ones: EXTRA SEXYNESS and EXTRA SPECTACULARITY. You gotta love the beautiful digital women and the damn good looking movements of each character in huge interactive stages. If this has fully CG or real-time cutscenes, improve the facial animations and has a decent numbers of character to play and extras (more than 30 characters and game modes, secrets, unlockables) this will be my favorite fighter this year. It’s such a pity Itagaki is not in the team anymore but it seems they’re doing just perfect with the base he left. Characters look more real now (not due to graphics but less anime faces and stuff) and sure this has the essence of any DOA…. AND IT’S COMING FOR PS3 TOO so we all happy.
