Dead or Alive 5's Rig, replay and photo mode featured in Famitsu

Dead or Alive 5's long-rumoured new character was unveiled in this week's issue of Famitsu.

Rig, who was first discovered by fans data-mining the fighter's beta demo, is a Canadian who specialises in Tae Kwon Do and will be voiced by Hiroki Touch. Shoryuken has some images of the pages in question.

The magazine also confirmed the return of Bass Armstrong. We'll probably see some assets for each character once the report hits Famitsu.com.

Meanwhile, Andriasang reports photo mode will make its expected return, with some small improvements.

A replay mode is also confirmed, with the ability to zoom and change the camera angle; you can even do so while watching live AI matches.

Dead or Alive 5 hits PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in late September.
