Video: Splinter Cell Blacklist’s ‘Sam Fisher at his best’

Sam Fisher made a return appearance at this year’s E3, sparking the announcement of Splinter Cell Blacklist. VG247 rappelled in with the guys behind the green lights to discuss this ‘blacklist’ of theirs.

Following on from yesterday’s explanation of the ‘explosive’ Blacklist demo at this year’s E3, here’s the entire interview to keep you in check. With Nathan Grayson’s vocal cords making an appearance.

Discussed Above, via the video, are subjects such as: Stealth, loud action sequences and the game’s ever aggressive execution scenes – both cut-scenes and in-game moments.

Here’s us hoping that they really do show us some ‘classic stealth action’ in the upcoming months. We want our Sam Fisher back!

Splinter Cell: Blacklist launches next spring on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC

On wiki says they are using LEAD Engine (modified Unreal Engine 2.5)
But game looks much better then conviction.
I hope also, you will not have unlimited ammo for pistol -_-

@1: Yeah, what was that all about? Why did they do that?

I also gotta say that i don’t like where the story seems to go. Just the fact that Sam works for 3rd Echelon again seems like such a stupid choice after establishing him as a Bourne-like character in Conviction.

… and then they get rid of the iconic voice, just to replace it with the voice of a dude who sounds like every other dude? Too freaking young, btw. Or is that supposed to be prequel?

@2 There is no more 3rd Echelon. Fisher is now in command of 4rd Echolon :D

@1, because it is modified engine obviously.

Look at the Star Wars 1313 or whatever. It was made on the UE 3.0 and it’s not even modified (i think)

@3: Sounds stupid. So it’s a sequel, how do they explain the younger voice?

@5 – I don’t think ubisoft even cares about the splinter cell story at this point, conviction didn’t connect very well with double agent and i probably expect the same to happen here.

Ubisoft should follow in the footsteps of Gears and Metal Gear, there’s no way you could possibly make a decent story about Sam Fisher.

Permanently and tragically kill off some of his relatives and babble on about srs bsns for hours. Pompous soundtrack is essential.

They should just give this franchise to Suda41, so he can turn Sam into a Gay hitman, vigilante, who uses his xray nightvision goggles to check out other dudes and perform sexy splits for his black transvestite boyfriend…

#8, you are wrong. It’s Suda51, TARD! Saying that this could happen is like calling Suda51 a Suda41.

Gosh, you’re butthurted and mad.
