Ridge Racer to get Daytona USA DLC next week
Namco Bandai has said it’ll release Daytona USA DLC – that’s Sega’s Daytona USA – next Wednesday, June 6 for Ridge Racer Vita. The Hornet car will set you back ¥250, while a song for the soundtrack called Ridge racer: Ridge Racer USA Mix will be ¥150.
There’s a trailer below the break. Thanks, Andriasang.

Japan has no idea what good music sounds like do they … the song under this is both brilliant and terrible, all at the same time.

Takenobu Mitsuyoshi rocking out
I agree that Japanese music is ‘bad’ in the real sense but they are kings of making videogame tunes that you’ll never forget.
Mitsuyoshi also did the Shenmue games, along with Yuzo Koshiro, which to be fair were pretty amazing at the time.

I believe there’s 9 tracks total now. Not bad….finally. Obviously shouldn’t have been DLC
