Rumour: Battlefield Premium to cost £35, fifth expansion called Aftermath

Battlefield Premium, outed as DICE’s contender to CoD Elite in a report earlier this month, will launch at a £35 pricetag, according to a retail listing.

CoolShop has the service listed on both its Danish and UK outlets.

The service will come with:

  • 20 Maps
  • 20 New Weapons
  • 10+ New Vehicles
  • 4+ New Game Modes
  • 30+ Assignments
  • 20+ Dog Tags
  • Also includes “Premium Benefits” which are made up of skins, camos and most importantly early access to all DLC.

A fifth expansion is also on the way called Aftermath for later this year according to MP1st, pushing End Game into early 2013. End Game was previously confirmed for a late 2012 launch.

The content listed for Premium subs will be introduced as content spread out through the various releases of the game’s expansion packs.

As long as they allow all the DLC to be bought separately and they keep supporting the game, I say bring it on :D

Do you need to buy this to play online? Or is it just bells and whistles for stats?

@2 Nah this’ll just be more content. You won’t be required to pay to play online.

Cool. I dont play it anyway but live for the day they remove Origin as a requirement. I do miss BF because they are good games but not going to install their shit so I can play.

One DD service is more than enough for me.
