MacGuffin’s Curse launch trailer drops ahead of tomorrow’s release

Award-winning Australian indie MacGuffin’s Curse is almost upon us; check out Tim Schafer’s unofficial contribution to the project in the trailer through the break.

As the developer notes, Schafer “probably doesn’t know” he has a credit in the game so don’t go expecting the Double Fine logo to appear.

MacGuffin’s Curse has a number of selling points – lycanthropy; unique hand-drawn art; award-winning writing; and the option to stick to puzzling or embark on a weighty adventure. It sports more than 150 puzzle rooms and Brawsome boasts of over 90 hours gameplay.

It’s due tomorrow through Steam, the iOS and Mac App Stores, and by direct download.

Thanks, Jake.

Ooh, this is tomorrow, really? Hooray! I’ve been waiting a good while for this one. It’s by Brawesome, the developers who gave me the utterly enjoyable, fun, and silly Jolly Rover.

Ever since Jolly Rover, they’ve been a name I watch.

(And that trailer does much to remind me of why I love them so.)

I’ve been playing this on the iPad and my oh my is it fun. I think it’s just that it has the typical Brawesome sense of humour, plus… werewolf jokes. I don’t know, it’s been a long time since I’ve felt a game has been particularly relevant to my interests. This is.
