Lottery winner of many hats takes to Kickstarter to gauge interest in MMO idea

Wiccan high priest, gamer, former accountant, and Maryland lottery winner Ellwood “Bunky” Bartlett wants to create an MMO, reports Eurogamer.

In it, each server is it’s own variant world players will travel between and based on various elements.

Bartlett has taken to Kickstarter to gauge interest in his MMO before starting on it – starting being finding a developer, publisher, artist and the rest.

There are some good ideas in there, but, we digress.

As of the moment it’s just an idea, but enough for 26 people to plop down $296.

People, iam not a well know developer, computer gaming is not my field of expertise, heck i barely use word, and excel, in my computer, but i want to create an RPG, that is also a FPS, and a RTS as well, With old school brawl mechanics throw in the mix , and a mixture of third person shooter too to spice things up, and my goal will be……hey let me finish please i did receive already 200$ for 20 people….. 900.000$ in two weeks

@6 and clearly he is the person to do that since he has a stellar game developing record.

@6 He has millions, he can spend money to research the same.

I think it’s shocking he’d ask for public money.
