Resident Evil: Chronicles HD announced for western launch

Tuesday, 13th March 2012 15:36 GMT By Johnny Cullen

Capcom’s announced previously Wii-exclusive on-rails Resident Evil shooters The Umbrella Chronicles and The Darkside Chronicles will be coming westbound.

The titles, which were bundled together for a retail release in Japan, will come to the west on PSN as a pack first in June, with separate releases later on.

Move controls will be implemented to replace the Wiimote controls, although you can play with a standard SIXAXIS controller if you wish.

There’s a trailer of it below.

Is it so difficult for CAPCOM to release a retail version? Bordel de merde!

The HD versions of RE4 and Veronica got a boxed release for both consoles in Japan they just never brought the package over here. Chances are that they will do the same for this collection.

Im sure if the HD versions have English at all in them but I’ll go find out, might be worth looking to import because Umbrella and Darkside Chronicles are great little games.

The two new scenarios in both games are nice new pieces of content. Well the Downfall of Umbrella one is fucking retarded but its good to see Chris and Jill togethor again.

EDIt : Seems that the Biohazard Revival Selection HD has English language but the subtitles are in Japanese. Im not sure if thats too much of a bother.

@2 The japanese version of Resident Evil had always the English voice and without the Japanese voice until Resident Evil Revelation on 3DS.

So i’m pretty sure the retail version in Japan will have the English voice.
