Quantic Dream to unveil GDC tech demo tonight β details
Quantic Dream will unveil a new tech demo that will set up its next game tonight on Eurogamer.

Studio co-founder David Cage will air the demo during an hour-long GDC session that begins at 2pm PST/10pm GMT, but the public will also get a look in on EG with insight from Cage.
The action happens from 10:30pm GMT.
The demo itself, according to Eurogamer, will be “similar in purpose” to The Casing demo the studio did six years ago. That, of course, bridged what became Heavy Rain.
Quantic’s next actual project will be tied to Sony, Cage said last year, after it backed Heavy Rain.

Seriously looking forward to seeing what they have been up to! ‘Heavy Rain’ was and still is one of my favourite games of all time. Is there going to eve a stream for this yeah?

Hey Joe, remember Brave Fencer Musashi? What a game.
As for the article I’m looking forward to it too. Not to mention the hitman tech demo today too.

@4 Yes. Yes I do. It was great fun. Better than its sequel, that’s for sure.
Not quite up there with Shinobi levels of greatness though.

Hope this game comes asap. Also hope for a possible vita release later (hoping vita support is added to this tech too).

Is this actually their next game, or just a tech demo unrelated to what they’re doing?

As far as I’m aware, it’s just a tech demo. But the tech in it will be used for its next game. Besides, The Casting – the last demo they did – was linked with Heavy Rain, so this’ll be too in all likelihood.

Omikron 2 or bust! Seriously, that game is rife for a reboot / sequel. It was an insanely ambitious game on par with original Deus Ex and even crazier in terms of bold ideas. It had CLASSIC adventure, FPS sections, 2D Fighting sections, open world driving (kinda), multiple main characters / possession and finally some nice RPG mechanics.
