Mistwalker working on "several projects"

It's taken so long for The Last Story to be localised that's it's easy to forget it's been over a year since the last Mistwalker game released. The developer is being cagey about what it's been up to in the meantime.

"We are working on several projects. We appreciate your interest," a representative told Siliconera.

"At this moment, the only thing I can say is that we are working on several projects," they added when pressed.

Mistwalker was last known to be working on an iPhone game called Party Wave, thanks to founder and Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi's burning interest in surfing. It is expected to release this year.

Prior to Cavia's closure in mid 2010, Mistwalker was collaborating with the Nier developer on a game called Cry On. The studio's last release prior to The Last Story was DS RPG Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow.

The Last Story has just arrived in Europe and will launch in the US in June.
