By Stephany Nunneley, Wednesday, 22 February 2012 20:31 GMT

Eugen Systems has released the launch trailer for Wargame: European Escalation, the real-time strategy game which is now available worldwide on PC at retail and through digital distribution.

Announced back in August, the game is set during the Cold War during 1975-1985, and pits NATO forces – USA and Western Europe – against the Warsaw Pact – Soviet and Eastern European countries – in battles that explore “what could have been.”

It also implements the IRISZOOM system, which allows a continuous zoom from a global view of the map to the heart of the action.

Check out screens and the launch trailer below.

It releases in Europe tomorrow, February 23.
