TERA’s first closed beta phase begins this weekend

The first closed beta phase of TERA starts this weekend. Starting tomorrow, and running until February 19, servers will be online from 3.00pm CEST until midnight each day. It will be the first of five beta tests for all pre-order customers, last year’s beta participants, and the 1,000 selected winners of the early beta registration. Two character slots will be available for player to explore the races and participate in battles up to level 22. For the first time guilds can now fight each other on a PvP server and participate in outlaw missions in the town of Velika. Based on a subscription model, TERA is set to be released on May 3, with Ubisoft is managing the European retail distribution, and Frogster the digital distribution in the region. The pre-order version of the game is available in the official TERA pre-order shop.

The bad thing about this beta is that it starts and restarts after 2-3 days constantly. Started a char 3 times already, each time a “restart” is due they wipe the chars, so you have to start another from scratch. This is shitty imho… I know it’s a beta and such, but srsly, the more I start at the noob island the more it looses it’s magic…
