Ridge Racer: Unbounded behind the scenes video goes drifting

Namco Bandai’s released the first behind the scenes video for Ridge Racer: Unbounded, featuring developer Bugbear going drifting on a race track in Finland. If past games are light-based games, Unbounded will be “the dark game,” according to lead designer Karri Kiviluoma. Get it below the break.

Ridge Racer: Unbounded launches in March for PS3, PC and 360.

‘Unbounded’ is such a stupid name.

I need to know if flatout style party mode events are in the game.

Frankly flatouts racing was appaling. Shit handling and wonky physics, it was terrible.

High jump, stone skipping, darts, basketball and the other stunt games made the series one of the best couch multiplayer experiences ever.

No stunt mode, no sale.

After forza and burnout paradise everything fails to measure up either in pure funfactor or in physics.

I’d add Dirt 3 to that list. Personally I reckon its a cracking rally game.
