Konami UK stays mum over possible MGS Collection delay
Konami UK has refused to comment this morning over a potential delay for the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection in Europe.

A release schedule from Konami Germany, which showed up on TheSnakeSoup, shows the collection for a Q2 2012 release. The pack was confirmed at E3 for a November release.
Despite this, the company’s UK arm is staying quiet.
“We never put a date on it for the UK, so I cannot comment Johnny,” a Konami rep told VG247 this morning.
The HD Collection, which features MGS2 and MGS3, releases in Japan on November 23, while the standalone HD version of Peace Walker will release before it on November 10.
PW will come packed with the collection in the west.
Thanks, Triggerhappy.

Gah. By proxy then, a 2012 date for all of us seems fairly likely then

it was originally aiming for November 11, but im not too bothered, this year is looking way too busy for 3 metal gear games for me anyway.

@4 Totally agree. Launching the game in October-November and even December would be totally nuts. Yes, it’s the HD Collection of the best game series ever made and Xboxers especially are desperate but at the same time we have MAJOR awesome games coming those dates. Current-gen games, potential award winning ones and more. This collection should be pulled to April next year and feature more extras (complete movie mode, some model gallery, better interfaces, lipsync, etc.)
