PSA: Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online hits XBLA and PSN

Capcom has sent over a reminder letting folks know that Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition has hit PSN today in the US. It will be released on PSN tomorrow in Europe and XBL in both regions.

Those ordering it on PSN will pay €14.99/$14.99 or 1200 MSP on XBLA. PS3 users who pre-ordered the game through Sony’s PLAY incentive, will receive a new PS3 theme, and even more goodies providing they pre-ordered all four offers.

Additionally, today, players can unlock Gill or unlock dip switch functionality for €.9/$.99 or 80 MSP each as an alternate to beating arcade mode with all characters.

The YouTubetm share functionality will be available on both consoles within the first few days of launch.

Check out the launch trailer below.

I’ll have some of that, please.

This is one of my favourite fighting games ever, just behind Virtua Fighter 5 and Street Fighter IV.

This and the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection at $9.99 is a perfect example of how Capcom is consistently ripping us off.

I love Street Fighter, but not Capcom.
