Resistance 3 gets half-hour video

weyhey! SPOILER. I’ve just ruined it for myself.

This should have been the demo, seeing as they’re willing to show off the whole level anyway. Its far superior to that boat section in pretty much every regard.

Nice game overall, can’t wait.
I wonder how long before the pessimist, Erthazus comes to complain about apparently ‘shit graphics’ & blah, blah, blah.

Atmosphere looks really nice at the start, the things the NPCs are doing and all, it looks well done. But as soon as the shooting starts, it didn’t interest me one bit anymore. The gun sounds sound very generic, and the same can be said for the pain grunts of the enemies, that shit is gonna tire quickly.

The game goes from nice looking to very average as soon as the real gameplay starts, what a shame. Doesn’t seem like a big change from R2 and that’s not a good thing. Cause personally i found R2 very very underwhelming in pretty much every aspect. Sure it had fights against huge creatures but all of that didn’t seem to matter, something about Resistance feels very off for me.

#7 Resistance 3 is one of those rare games without automatic health generation and where you can carry more than two guns at the same time. Casual my ass, now go play on your x360.

I really hope this game is good, I thought the first two had great stories but the gameplay let them down. Hopefully things will have changed this time.

Considering its about a alien Invasion, just before/during/after the 2nd world war, the story is still very bland. So its Chimera instead of Nazi’s & only a lone Yank can save te world yo! Medal of Honour with Martians -_-

If they had used a tenth of their imagination, colour & humour that they put into Ratchet & Clank, insomniac would have stopped this just becoming another pofaced, brown/grey shooter.
