Take-Two trademark for RockstarFilms approved by USPTO

Take-Two's trademark filing for Rockstar Films, which was submitted on December 21, 2010 has been approved by the USPTO.

Here is the trademark's description, dug up by SystemLink Alt:

“Animated motion picture films featuring entertainment, namely, action, adventure, dramatic, comedic, children's and documentary themes; pre-recorded video discs and other pre-recorded digital and electronic media in the field of live action programs, motion pictures, or animation featuring entertainment, namely, action, adventure, dramatic, comedic, children's and documentary themes."

The site also notes in the link above, Take-Two owns URLs for RockstarFilms.com and RockstarFilms.net.

We'll send a mail and ask what the plans are, but we honestly don't expect T2 to give up anything juicy until it is ready.
