Quick Shots – Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 screens invade a carnival
Ubisoft has sent over screenshots from Gearbox’s Brothers in Arms: Furious 4.
The shots show the formidable fellas causing loads of bloodshed at a carnival, and in one of the shots lit looks like someone has lost an eye along with the rest of his face.
BIA: Furious 4 is being called a cross between Inglorious Basterds and Borderlands, and while that is not part of the series’ cannon – if WWII even has a cannon per se – that’s not really such a bad thing. We’ll just have to wait and see, but in the meantime, we’re really curious over who Stella is, and what she did to warrant a tattoo on the forearm.
Furious 4 is slated for release on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 during the first half of 2012.

‘A carnival’? I think that’s supposed to be Oktoberfest…
On topic, as much as I think they should’ve left the BiA name out of this one, it does look like it could be a whole lot of fun and I’m looking forward to seeing some gameplay.

Yes, Oktoberfest was mentioned in previews, but previews also said carnival. Oktoberfest is basically, historically a carnival anyway since the 1800s. It is around here as well, and the only way to distinguish it from other “festivals” is the extra beer and fun hats.

Oktoberfest in germany is not like carnival at all. You’re doing it wrong.
