THQ to publish Turtle Rock’s newest title in 2013
THQ’s announced that it’s to publish the newest game from Left 4 Dead 1 developer Turtle Rock.

The game will release in calendar 2013. Platforms weren’t specified.
“Our quest to sign the best artists and work with the best talent continues,” said THQ core boss Danny Bilson.
“Turtle Rock Studios is responsible for one of the most original, critically acclaimed co-operative games of this generation, and we are incredibly excited to be working with them on their next project, which looks set to make a similar impact in the multiplayer space.”
Turtle Rock COO Phil Robb added: “This project is the most ambitious thing we’ve ever attempted, and we’re inspired by the support THQ has shown to help us realize that vision. We’re going to take the first person shooter experience to a whole new level, and we can’t wait to show the game for the first time in the months ahead.”
THQ has made clear, though, that the new game – which is still to be named – will not be shown at E3.

”Turtle Rock Studios is a video game developer founded in March 2002 by Michael Booth, later acquired by Valve Corporation.
On 3 June 2009, Doug Lombardi of Valve Corporation confirmed that the studio was no longer operating as Valve South some time after the release of Left 4 Dead.[4
But they didn’t work on l4d 2 acording to wiki ? I don’t very confusing.

oh so thats why L4D2 sucked balls, they killed the game play, I liked the new fancy graphics but l4D was much better game with better maps for all types of infected.

I didn’t know this too. L4D2 was really disappointing. A decent game but not as fun as the original and definitely not as fresh.

I’m glad I waited for a sale with L4D2. That was a very unneccesary “sequel”.
Hopefully these guys are up to more coop’ing goodness.
