Lightbox: Starhawk single-player to last 5-8 hours

Lightbox Interactive boss Dylan Jobe has said that the single-player element of Starhawk will last around the region of five to eight hours.

“Shooters these days range between five and eight hours, depending on a play through. We’re going to be in that range,” Jobe told Eurogamer when asked about the single-play’s length.

“There is some concern sometimes, when a guy in the media will be like, ‘Oh my God, it’s too short for single-player.’ I just don’t see it that way.

“For example, if you play most shooters from start to finish, if you play it again you’re going to get pretty much the same experience. You could go play Halo on mercenary mode or whatever. It’s going to be tougher, but it’s still pretty much going to be the same experience.”

Starhawk’s single-play campaign is the first for the ‘Hawk’ series, with Warhawk being a multiplayer-only affair.

Game’s out in 2012 for PS3. Watch the first trailer for it here, gameplay here and impressions of it here.

Well we are talking about a Multiplayer strong game here.

Seems like the more profound Multiplayer in any game lessens the portion you get in Single Player.

Well would make me think twice if I was only interested in the SP portion of the game.

60usd/5hr = 12usd/hr.

Online, if its your cup of tea, priceless.
