Aeria Games announces free-to-play browser MMORTS Golden Age

Looking for a new massively multiplayer real-time strategy game to take up those idle moments? Aeria Games has just announced Golden Age, which promises to help you get your browser-based fix of army building, castle-construction and, of course, epic battles.

A quick look at the game over on Massively suggests that Golden Age will allow bystanders to jump into battles between players or computer-based enemies. Gamers will be able to vote for their favourite army at the start of a battle - the winner gets bonus soldiers!

In what looks like fairly standard fantasy-RTS style, Golden Age features more than 20 different types of structures for players to build up their own fortresses.

It will be available "soon" in both English and Spanish, and Aeria are promising the game will be free-to-play. Want to get in early? Head to the teaser site and register for the beta.
