After playing first Batman:AA, when i saw this trailer i thought: Dumbed down visuals.

but thank god it’s a console trailer… PC version was so much better graphically. Especially with 3D. Batman:AA was the reason why i bought good 3D Monitor and Nvidia 3D Vision and i don’t regret since that day and can’t wait for this one.

I hope that they will improve PhysX which was awesome in Arkham Asylum, but they can do crazy shit with it this time when technology is better.

@13, Grow up, then i will shut up. ok? 17 year old kids…

@14, “It is open city ”

and what? GTA 4 is an open city. Looks freakin good on PC and 360 (except for PS3)
    or Mafia II

+ i don’t think so that it’s going to be a sandbox game… I think it will be like Arkham Asylum but with more open space because we can’t have Batmobile in this one.

@15, GTA IV looks great on PS3, slightly lower resolution than the 360′s version but it has better shading.
    I won’t argue about Mafia 2 though.

  19. YoungZer0

@15: Don’t talk about something you don’t understand. Every 12 year old is way ahead of you. It’s ridiculous. Every single topic that has a multi game you talk about the strengths of the PC, as if we don’t know the obvious. Guess what, water is wet, we knew it all along, you didn’t discover it. It’s as if you’re a broken record. Always repeating yourself.

I also have a good feeling that your reply to this will – again – show that you’ll miss my point.

Idiot. People who care about graphics, care about everything else and about the product especially.Idon’t want to spend my money on the product that has not the best performace, graphics and etc. Like battlefield 3 where 64 players, mouse and keyboard and best graphics on PC only. So GTFO.

So PC graphics are actually better than console games? Now THAT is a new one man, i absolutely didn’t know that yet. Sometimes i wonder if you don’t get tired of yourself, i think we all know damn well how anti-console you are and that you find PC the best thing ever since sliced bread, all fine and dandy but no reason to keep saying it.

We’re seeing what we always see around this time in a console’s life Erthazus. When they first launch, they can easily compete with PC’s because they’re using current gen tech with games taking full advantage of the hardware and as the years tick by, the PC becomes more powerful and the console stays the same. So its no surprise that this far into the console’s life, the PC obviously has better graphics than a console thats 3-5 years old.

Wait until the next gen of consoles and the whole damn thing will begin again.

Stop trolling for christs sake, you’re almost worse than back-up. At least he was obviously trolling…

What is the point of stating the obvious time and time again, you are wasting your time.

How and why would a 4 plus year old console look as good as new tech that costs 3 to 4 times as much?! Such a obvious and foolish statement…

Go enjoy your PC, let everyone else enjoy gaming on their consoles you elitist gimp.

Don’t reply saying you own all the consoles, what does it matter if your always whining about them..?

When will you learn that comparing a Ferrari to a BMW/Honda Civic is really futile. Consoles can’t upgrade and if you couldn’t buy new equipment for your PC after 2004/5 you’d be in the same boat along with console users.

True #43 but I’m wondering if its ever possible for a dev to work so hard and optimize code so good for a console architecture that they could max out a console from launch or within a year or two from launch. That would be crazy but I know its damn near impossible.

The kid just needs to know that his comparisons with the platforms are just as silly as comparing a high schooler going up grade levels every year to a college grad with a masters. Sure the high schooler maybe be able to out sleek the college grad in some things but overall who’s making the money and can pull more shots.

You know what we should do in order to avoid this fights for the best graphics thing, every gamer should own a 19″ inch tv, like we used to, when arcades were in here heyday and when the NES sega genesis came, thats the size recommend it also on the console manufactures manuals (small screen sizes in order to avoid seizures and the likes), so we will be seing the same kind of graphics no matter which console and PC we do own, at that size all the graphics will look mostly the same.

I miss those days, they were easy, the only discussion was, sonic was better than mario, or bandicoot was cooler and vice-versa. now we are getting to each other throats, like if videogamers were not niche enough.

@31 “Blah blah blah PC’s are great blah blah blah you’re all stupid blah blah blah blah.”

Not really my point. You were complaining about the graphics in your original post. Nobody gives a shit about fancy PC graphics.

All they do is make games more expensive to produce, and that’s the last thing this industry needs right now.

@45 “Its evident Erthuzus doesn’t know his ass from his mother’s face so stop entertaining the little fucker.”
