Hawken trailer is mechtastic

Everyone’s talking about Hawken, an upcoming multiplayer mech combat game. Could that be because this trailer makes it look brilliant? Very likely!

As the trailer’s YouTube description notes, you’ll notice some stuttering throughout – the trailer was cut together from network match footage, including some spectator cam to give you a good look at the mechs.

Hawken is the first title from Los Angeles-based indie Adhesive Games, and is likely destined for downloadable release on multiple platforms.

Thanks, Evil Avatar.

The graphics and atmosphere look great like a futuristic Tokyo or something. Lets just hope the gameplay matches all that Mechtastic glory as Brenna so eloquently puts it.

Kinda puts the eyes on Kojima even more to hurry up and make Z.O.E.3 He needs to get busy on that instead of putting MGS characters in Assassin Creed games and vice versa.

Hilariously, this looks aesthetically better than Front Mission Evolved.

It’s amazing what a company can do when it’s staff actually possess some degree talents… something that Square Enix is lacking in spades.

Double Helix Games made Front Mission Evolved, not an in-house Square Enix dev…

Wow, that looks pretty amazing! Even more so when you realise that it’s an indie game rather than a big-budget production!
