I’m amazed that Creative Assembly still have the same goddamn campaign interface they’ve had since the first Shogun. I actually preferred that iteration more than the one they have now.
Personally I consider it the weakest point of the series, bar none. I love a good tactical battle, but I really can’t be bothered to meticulously assemble armies and move them around a map step by step.
There are so many great grand strategic wargames out there that do it ten times better. I don’t get why Creative Assembly aren’t feeling inspired, just a little bit.
