Shift 2: Unleashed Career Mode and helmet cam previewed

shift2unleashed

Shift 2: Unleashed, from EA and Slightly Mad Studios, has had its helmet cam and Career Mode detailed a bit.

According to a preview over on IGN, the helmet cam not only changes the game’s perspective, but will drift off towards the apex when turning a curve, pulling your vision into the racing line. Among other things, your vision will also be blurred around the edges while driving at high speeds, giving you the same sort of tunnel vision sensation racers feel while driving around the track.

It all sounds rather interesting, and you can read the full preview through the link.

There’s also a new video for it posted below.

It’s out March 29 in the US and March 25 in the UK for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

agree!!!

as well the first game came nothing close to FM3 and GT5 physics. I bet this will still be SIM/Arcade title. So no thanks. I love to play SIMS, I love to play Arcade, even some sims/arcade, but I hate to see a SIM/Arcade trying to sound like its the ultimate simulator, no thanks!
