5th Cell releases first screenshots of its XBLA title, Hybrid

Scribblenauts developer 5th Cell has released the first set of screenshots for Hybrid, its XBLA first-person-shooter.

Announced back in October last year, more on the shooter is expected during GDC in March.

The game pits two factions against one another, the Paladin and Variant, and players will be able to choose sides and unlock new abilities, armor, upgrades, and weapons as they level up. Journal entries on the title’s official website shed more light on the war between the two factions as well as a bit of the story.

Hybrid promises all online interactions will occur during a “single, unified world server.”

It’s out this year.

Wasn’t saying it (the game) is shit but a desperate excuse for an exclusive is what I meant. It actually looks like it has potential…..but then again so did Shadow Run :D
