LittleBigPlanet 2 is freely available at retail - in exchange for currency, according to capitalist principles - but that doesn't mean we're over it. A new pair of trailers takes you behind the scenes at the Media Molecule offices and teases a Toyota Prius promotional competition with some hefty swag up for grabs.

Although details listed on the US PS Blog don't include a release date beyond "early february", a new level called LittleBigPrius is on the way, combining platforming and top-down driving.

Scattered throughout the level are assets and tools specific to the Prius promotion, which can then be used to create a Prius-themed level. The best of these will earn its creator a 46” Sony Bravia 3D HDTV, and a PlayStation Move hardware bundle including a PS3 and Sports Champions. Four runners-up will score a PS Move bundle with Sports Champions.

Hit the link above for details on how to name your level for valid entry, and watch the Prius-filled trailer below.

The EU PS Blog has posted a behind-the-scenes look at the Media Molecule office, which may fill you with jealous rage, equipped as it is with funky decor, a huge kitchen, beanbag racing, and some of the best developers in the country.

The video was shot just before the game went gold, so it's full of delighted happy people filled with enthusiasm for their game, as opposed to three months earlier when they likely wanted the whole mess to vanish. Check it out below.
