Del Toro’s inSANE officially a trilogy, possibly a movie

Looks like THQ’s caught a case of inSANE mania.

And for once, that’s not a malady made up by a grade school-aged child attempting to get out of phys-ed class.

THQ’s put out a press release dispensing a few more precious morsels of inSANE info, and nestled among them is confirmation that – as rumored – it’s a trilogy.

In addition, the release makes special note of the fact that while THQ owns the inSANE IP, del Toro’s called dibs on “any filmed entertainment products.” So, if there’s a movie, it’s del Toro’s and del Toro’s alone.

Lastly, while we still almost literally know nothing about the game’s content, del Toro waxed cryptically about what we can expect.

“With this new series of video games, I want to take players to a place they have never seen before, where every single action makes them question their own senses of morality and reality,” he said.

Question our own senses of morality and reality, eh? We’ve got it: it’s a game about the Spike TV Videogame Awards, isn’t it?

In my opinion, THQ announced this game too early, atleast wait til you have something more than just the title, people like to know a little bit of the backstory, see some clips of how it’ll pan out, so far all i know is that it has something to do with tenticles, so as far as i’m concerned, it’s an japenese anime rape game. Jkn ofc :P i know that it’s a horror/thriller.
LOL if abig named publisher were to actually release a japenese anime rape game :P

at first i thought this was connected to del toro’s lovecraft film in 2012 which would at least make 2013 for this make abit more sense.

But it’s starting to sound like they’re not connected at all apart from the lovecraftian elements (2 lovecraft projects at once? rly?), so yeah my excuse for the 2013 date has been thrown out anyway.

far far far too early to show this off

Nope. Both are all-caps (or almost all-caps, in Infamous case) sans-serifs, but they’re not the same.
