Kratos to appear in Mortal Kombat PS3

kratos

According to the latest issue of US OPM, God of War’s Kratos is set to appear in the PS3 version of Mortal Kombat.

Sony’s big mascot will appear as a special character and will have his own God of War-themed arena, combat moves and his own fatalities.

Kick-ass, etc.

Mortal Kombat releases next year.

Thanks, StickSkills.

wow…bunch of haters ^

this is what fans were considering when Hip Hop G came up with the idea and asked Ed Boon.

or maybe the ^ are just fanboys jealous that Kratos will be in the game:)

I can’t wait for this, Kratos vs Scorpion, epic!

Sounds awesome. If only the PS3 version is getting an exclusive character then i’d say thats a good sign the rumoured PS3 ‘MK Kollection’ is real.

He’s definitely fitting with the theme, I like this idea, and it’ll be fun to see what his special attacks are, and how he fits in with the established roster.

@2 – For that matter, what business did a Spartan have, being in DOA? That didn’t turn out so bad…

Holy fucking awesome. Seriously, holy awesome. Kratos vs Scorpion. A battle for the ages.
EDIT: I just rechecked and this may be a big fake (Either that or the team is really tired of all the leaks during these last 2 days).

I can’t stand Kratos, but hey, he fits this franchise perfectly.

Awesome!

I guess I’ll have to buy the PS3 Version, just to kick the ugly ass of the guy called Kratos :D

@10 You can always perform finishers on Kratos if you don’t like him.

Me, I like both MK and Kratos so the fatalities will be two ways :)

@16 Kratos was in Soul Calibur Broken Destiny on the PSP if you played that :)

But i think it would be cool to see him in a PS3 soul Calibur man agree totally.

On the MK Kratos BRING ON THE MAYHEM XD well done SONY and Mr Boon for this one :)

Oh yea thanks for reminding me PsychoboyUK. Can’t wait to see his finishers in this new MK.

Will “another” kind of “Spartan” make it into “another” console maker’s version….time will tell ;)

@4 my thoughts exactly
@5 interesting idea how would actually win in a fiht between a pissed-off fallen greek god/demi-god(zeus did knock-up his mom afterall)vs a pissed-off ninja, both use a blade attached to a chain, both injoy ripping the heads of the enemies, both have an enemy that they both enjoyed killing, you know the more i think about it the more i think that scorpion and kratos may actually become best friends
