USA Today‘s revealed Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime, a new title in the IP from Atari.

The game, made by Chilian studio Wanako, is a top-down, four-player co-op adventure title which sees the return of the rookie from Ghostbusters: The Videogame that released last year from Atari and Terminal Reality.

Co-op can be played online and offline. Super massive bosses have been promised as well, which will require teamwork from your team and your arsenal.

The report claims the game won’t feature actors Bill Murray or Dan Ackroyd in the game unlike last year’s main effort, but will feature a drivable Ecto-3

It’ll release on PSN, Xbox Live and PC.

Will it look like balls on the PS3 and have no online play on the PC again?

And will it be a load of old shit regardless of platform again? :-)

The last one was just… ugh. Hateful. And I’d been so looking forward to it, too.

The game was ok, but the PC version was beyond fucked. Proper chugged even on a decent PC and all the audio in the pre rendered cutscenes were out of sync, plus they all looked so much worse compared to the in game graphics. The gameplay for the most part (till the end which became a boring shooter) was quite good, but the engine it was running on was pretty terrible.

No OG voice cast = BAD

Small, digestible downloadable title = GOOD
