Portal 2 delayed into April 2011 (Updated)
Update: Valve’s told Shacknews that Portal 2 will be hitting North America and Australia on April 20, while Europe will have to wait until April 22.
Original article: Valve has announced Portal 2 will be delayed into April.
The week of April 18 to be exact.
According to Valve, the delay marks not only the “the shortest delay in Valve’s proud tradition of delays”, but it represents “the approaching convergence of Valve Time and Real Time”.
“Though this convergence spells doom for humanity, it will not affect the new Portal 2 release date,” says Valve.
Always cryptic. Always funny. Always delayed.
At least it’s still coming.
Portal 2 was originally slated for release on Mac, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on February 9.

I had no idea it was supposed to be in February anyway, I’d sort of gotten the impression that it was due next Autumn. So it’s all good – it’s coming early for me!
