Square to announce EU 3rd Birthday date "soon" as Japan gets PSN release

Square Enix has told VG247 it will make an annnouncement on the European release date for The 3rd Birthday "soon".

"We will be making an announcement soon," a rep told us when asked about it.

It comes as the publisher announced this morning it'll get a PSN release in Japan.

It will link up with the release of the retail UMD version when they both release in the country on December 22.

The PSN version will cost ¥4,980, while the disc version will set you back ¥6,090

The retail version will feature a special download card that enables an Aya Brea character costume for Dissdia Duodecim Final Fantasy.

The game's due within the US in the first three months of the US for PSP.
