No plans for western Layton vs Ace Attorney release yet, says Capcom

Capcom’s confirmed on Unity it has no plans yet to bring over the just-announced Professor Layton-Ace Attorney crossover to a western audience just yet.
The title was announced yesterday at Level 5′s Vision event for 3DS, with main developer on the Ace Attorney series Shu Takumi writing the scenario.
But while it’s only been confirmed for the Japanese so far, Capcom’s encouraging fans to speak out if it wants the game to jump to the west.
“The game has only been announced for Japan. Want it available outside of Japan? Shout out in the comments! The more comments we get for this blog post, the better,” said jgonzo.
You heard him. If you want it, scream it.

Ofcourse it’s been planned for a Western release since both series are already popular here.
It’s just a cynical attention grab.

As of right now, Layton x Ace is the most trended topic on Twitter. You think Capcom x Level 5 might change their tune?
