Report – Jedward to front new Nintendo ad campaign
Justin Bieber and Kinect? Phft, try Nintendo’s most recent hires for its newest ad campaign for the Christmas period.
Who is it? Maybe Leona Lewis. Not like she hasn’t done it before? What about JLS? Wait, Jedward!?!?
According to The Sun in the UK, the two annoying twins from the last series of UK TV talent show The X Factor have been picked by the big N to front its new ad campaign.
In a deal worth £250,000, John and Edward Grimes will be filming a TV ad and posing for posters next week for the campaign.
Already today,we’ve had Bieber and Kinect and now this? What next? Radiohead’s Thom Yorke signing up to promote Move?

The night before my flight to Germany for gamescom, I flew out to Dublin to stay over to catch it.
Jedward were just leaving Dublin airport just as I was queuing up for a taxi.

Nintendo UK marketing has gone from people like Nicole Kidman to Ant & Dec to Jedward, I think that’s a downward spiral if ever I saw one.
