Game has reduced the price of the Xbox 360 Elite to £149.99, ahead of the launch of the new 250Gb Xbox 360 model which arrives next month.

The slimmer 360, announced at E3 last week, is smaller than its predecessor, includes five USB ports, a custom Kinect port and a 250Gb hard drive.

Cost of the new console is currently £199.99, the previous price of the Elite, although the new machine does not come bundled with any games or an HDMI cable.

Thanks, MCV.

Unless you really need built in WiFi, I’d say pick one of these bad boys up (if you don’t have one already).

Your picture is misleading though. Current Elites on the market DO NOT come with an HDMI cable nor a component cable. They come with standard definition cables.

I still don’t understand why the new Slim 360 doesnt come with either HDMI or component. Same goes for the PS3. They pretend that these console are HD out of the box yet you cant get HD unless u get the cable separately…

Bargain!! I would totally go for this over the newer slim ones, as I’m still not sure how reliable the new slim ones are.
