Nintendo.com to stream E3 conference live

nintendoe3

Let’s hope someone remembers to buy the “super bandwidth upgrade package”.

Nintendo said today it’s to stream its E3 press conference live on Nintendo.com.

The presentation begins at 9.00am PST on Tuesday, June 15.

Nintendo will show 3DS and the new Zelda during the event, and is expected to show software for the Vitality Sensor and more.

We will, of course, be there. Both Nathan and myself will be in the audience liveblogging, so we’ll have all the news as it happens.

One to take pictures and one to write.

Or just in case the battery in Pats laptop dies after 15 minutes. ^.^

I’m going to watch at Gamespot anyway. Last year they did freakin good job on doing it.

I’ve just bought a new battery. I should now have enough power to last at least 10 hours, even using the Blackberry as a modem. I will never suffer the battery fail pain again.

@Pat: Is it safe to assume that yourself and Nathan will be replicating a similar practice for the MS & Sony conferences?

Or can we expect live video streaming?

May as well call it the ‘Zelda Event’, doubt there’ll be much else of interest.

@6 – We’ll be liveblogging all of them and I’ll be taking photos. We won’t be doing video, but they’ll all be streamed elsewhere. We’ll provide details of all the video providers nearer the time. As @3 says there, Gamespot’s normally a great place to watch them.

Reggie will pull out 3DS, I hope. He did DS. Was an awesome moment.

I just want to see a new Zelda game. Hopefully they show us a brand new IP, that is not for children and adults over 60.

@Pat: I miss the Reggie-era, it really marked a resurgent Ninty for me.

And ditto on the need for him to stage unveiling the 3DS; Nintendo don’t have anyone else with gravitas to make it seem as much of a big deal as he likely would.

These days we just get soccer moms and clueless execs stealing our oxygen on stage.

Bring back the Reginator!
