Enslaved gameplay footage comes out of Barcelona

Namco’s released some new gameplay footage of Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. It looks proper swish.
It’s hidden away in an interview with Ninja Theory boss Tameem Antoniades at Gamespot. Get it below.
Speaking of interviews with Ninja Theory, check our own interview here. New screens are here.
For the record, the game looks proper awesome. Proper. Awesome.
Enslaved is released this fall for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Well, it looks good, if a little clunky at this stage in development.

Yeah, it does need a bit of tinkering obviously, but other then that, it looked fucking awesome. Seriously.

It looks ok. A bit of Uncharted 1 meets Prince of Persia with latest Bionic Commando graphics.

Is the glowing and shimmering platforming elements necessary? Players can take subtler direction hint if Uncharted was any indication(which is already overtly obvious at times IMO).

“Is the glowing and shimmering platforming elements necessary? ”
Agree, i think they must remove that shiny effect from platforming elements. They kinda ruin the atmosphere and you feel that you are in the game.

Looks like Ninja Theory could teach Ubisoft quite a bit about how to make Prince of Persia, especially in the area of robust combat. I sure hope they got it right and put difficulty levels in this game.

Damn Gamespot! That video is so not in HD, couldn’t make out how good it looked.

Shimmering looks retarded. bit of a fail if they leave that in the final version.

If this proves anything, it’s that you don’t need a PS3 in order to create Heavenly Sword level of graphics.
