SEGA has announced that Phantasy Star Portable 2 will be made available in Europe and the US sometime this fall.

Developed by Alfa System, the action-RPG is a sequel to the original title released last December in Japan, and includes four-person online multiplayer to go along with the single-player mode.

According to the press release, Phantasy Star Portable 2 takes place three years after Phantasy Star Universe, with the residents of the Gurhal System having a tough time dealing with their dwindling resources.

The game will also contain “an enhanced combat system, new weapons and character customization options”.

Again, out in the fall. No set date given.

One of the best franchises this generation. Period.

    No, not joking.

I am waiting on the enevitable PS3 all in one PSU collection disc(like PSO ep I&II for Gamecube/xbox). If you can get past the JP stylings this game offers near thousands of hours of char development/leveling up and is a blast to play with friends/family. My two sons and I play the xbox360 version online together, hella lot of fun to be had.
