Blacklight: Tango Down has “trillions” of weapon customization options

Ignition Entertainment has revealed that there’s a vast amount of different weapon customizations in the multiplayer shooter BlackLight: Tango Down.

As a matter of fact, Ignition says that the customization options for the game’s weapons is “in the trillions”.

Jesus. That’s a bit mind boggling.

The thing about it though, is that the weapons are not futuristic contraptions, so you won’t be adding a mind control device to a pistol that shoots invisible rays at the speed of light.

All weapons are based in reality, as each is a real-life weapon that has been used by soldiers as far back as the 1960s.

The system “revolves around” five core weapons like the SMG or Shotgun as a base before you customize it to best suit you and your playstyle, with over 152 million different primary weapon, 157,248 secondaries, and 312 character model/camouflage combinations.

Blacklight: Tango Down is to be released on PC, PSN, and XBL this summer for $15 from Zombie Studios.

You can check out some of the customization options in the gallery below.

Trillions? whatever, put up or shut up! If game play is shit it won’t matter if you have Jesus in it.

Not bad for an indie gig I suppose, but it would still be more interesting to find out whether the game is crap or not.
