Firstplay coming to Ireland

firstplay

Future Publishing has told subscribers it will be releasing FirstPlay in Ireland from May 19.

In response to a user’s question submitted via PSN, the company said:

“We’ll be available in Ireland from Episode 7 onwards, so check it out on the 19th!”

FirstPlay launched in the UK on April 8, however Future has always said it planned to expand the service.

I bought the second one. There’s not a great deal to it…4 trailers, 4 lots of screen shots with vioce over, a review and thats about it really, but you can’t complain when its only 99p, with it i got a free PS3 mini which sells on the PSN for 2.99 (but its utter shit)

As for the adverts, there is like five 30sec long adverts which run before the trailers, but after you’ve seen them once you can skip them so they’re not obtrusive at all.

If you are interested in most of the games featured in an issue it’ll probably be worth picking up, but as i peruse this site, i normally have already seen all the trailers and screen shots.

OPM’s ad count for their last issue: 17.5 pages out of 132.

Compares more than favourably to most other mags.
