Valve’s L4D2 DLC, The Passing, will hit next week according to a blog post on the game’s official site.

In it, the Left 4 Dead 1 and Left 4 Dead 2 teams collide and because of this, Valve has posted an update on some extra Left 4 Dead 2 goodies that combine other games.

First up, the Midnight Riders hit Rock Band with two songs. The Passing will also feature a new power ballad by the guys called Save Me Some Sugar.

There’s also a new map for L4D2 through L4Dmaps that mixes things up with Half-Life 2: Episode One called City 17.

Then, finally, there’s Jsparakov’s Badwater Basin map combining TF2 and L4D2.

Loads of stuff there for you.

Valve promises that more information on The Passing will appear next week on the blog.

You can get more information on this crazy zombie fun through the link at the top.

A DLC pack for L4D1 is expected to be released after The Passing, to explain just why the two teams met up in the first place.

Start speculating now which character from L4D1 bites the dust.

more free stuff from valve. nice. :) now if only other publishers would actually give a sh1t about their customers and would do that too that would be great. ofc they will always be able to pull stuff like that off as long as there r douchebags buying that content.
