Split/Second multiplayer vids are proper hardcore
Split/Second’s multiplayer looks hardcore, as these two new videos prove.
The two new vids are based in an airport and within a city, but both are full of so much destruction, you wouldn’t be able to tell otherwise. Go watch them below, thanks to 1UP.
Get pumped. Get seriously pumped. This most likely can’t, and wont, fail, so give it a whack. If the two vids below don’t do the trick, go watch the trailer released over Easter. And that doesn’t help, you’re on your own.
The game’s out on May 21 for PS3, 360 and PC from Pure developer Black Rock Studios.

Damn, i wish they played this in first person view. With the car in front of you , it always seems soooo much slower than when driving in first person. Graphically this is much better than Blur though. So both are releasing in may, if i was to buy a racer that month…i wouldn’t know which one yet.

you’d think they’d sort the road surface texture popping in about 1 second in. sloppy. Does this look good? I’m not convinced.

guy playing is not that great, he isn’t drifting n drafting that much.
just racing straight makes the race boring.

hmmm…looks good. i don´t know if i like the short crash cut scenes…maybe this will be annoying – always hated this in racing games…ok you just have to drive better and avoid crashes, but i don´t know…i played the blur demo and liked it. this one indeed looks better but blur looked nice as well and played well. pretty slick presentation…i´ll have to wait for reviews.

this game looks amazing. Gonna have to agree to the slow gameplay tho. Wheres the friggin speed?! It has it all, thats whats missing still.
