Steve Wiebe is once again king of Donkey Kong Jr.

Steve Wiebe had reclaimed his Donkey Kong Jr. crown after having it stolen by Oklahoma-based Mark Kiehl last fall.
According to Twin Galaxies, Wiebe scored 1,190,400 points in the game on Valentine’s Day (via Joystiq).
He achieved a high score of 1,139,800 back in April of last year, only to be beaten the following fall.
Now, he is back on top, thanks to playing on Valentine’s Day instead of buttering up the wife a bit.
Good show, Steve. Just don’t let Billy Mitchell find out. He may decide to switch Kong games just for giggles.

Not too bad. Can’t see her too well in this though.

@Tallon 4 you clearly do not understand the allure of classic games like donkey kong. Its a Zen thing… Personally I think it’s amazing that these guys can concentrate for so long and not go crazy. Congrats to Steve!

King of Kong was an exceptional movie. For those who haven’t seen it, please do. Very educational. It made me appreciate Steve’s dedication and skill (and those who play videogames on that level).
