Nibris title Sadness goes the way of vaporware

Looks like Nibris’ noir title for Wii has now joined the realm of vaporware, as the official site for the game is now shut down and the domain up for sale.

While still listed on the splash page for the official Nibris site, not much of anything has been heard about the survival-horror title since last year when the firm announced that it “may” appear at E3.

The game was planned for a fall release in 2009, but that has come and gone.

We’ll contact Nibris and see if we can get anything on this.

Thanks, GoNintendo.

Not that surprising given the lack of success for other mature Wii titles.

I wonder what else was a factor?

    Probably the never existing factor?

    Cynic!

I thought this had had some screenies published a while back? Or were those bullshots?

(That’s even if I’m remembering it right)

I remember seeing artwork for the game before the Wii came out. It was why I bought a Wii infact. They clearly conned me and I demand reparations!

Also, that monster pictured is awesome. It has a penis for a head and a vagina for a mouth. Two for one!

I wonder whether this ever actually existed at all beyond those few concept pictures?

This is that game that seemed to let you control a live-action actress using the wiimote, and was obviously something not at all actually running on any form of harware right?

    I never saw that coming.
