Infinity Ward moves onto MW2 DLC, doesn’t know what next project is

modernwarfare218

Infinity Ward’s Rob Bowling’s told MTV that its next game’s a mystery.

“We don’t know what our next game is,” he said, talking in the video interview after the break.

“Once we’ve finished [Modern Warfare 2], we’re going to do a lot of DLC support for it, and then we’re going to sit down and talk about what our next project’s going to be. It doesn’t mean this is the end, but right now, you know, we’re continuing the story and we’re concluding some storylines, but anything’s possible.”

Right. So it’s Modern Warfare 3, then?

“We always like to leave some opening, some air to breathe,” Bowling added. “So, you’re going to have to play it and see.”

Modern Warfare 3, then. Thanks, GoNintendo.

I suggest a school in ‘how to make a good PC game and not be a bunch of lazy fucks’ course

The ending is so clearly set up to move on to a third part.

May I attempt a shot in the dark here: Modern Warfare 3 per chance?

EDIT: Ooh, so close to G1GA ;)

How about releasing some of that DLC for free ey ? sort of a thank you to all those who bought your game and helped you break sales records and fill your pockets ? … oh wait, that’s not gonna happen!

It’s perfectly possible.

However, first of all, Microsoft don’t like free DLC, secondly Neither does Activision, as Kotick is too busy trying to make $600 out of a $60 game.

You cant put the blame on MS. They have offered free DLC on their first party games before.

Yeah, I think MS will let you release one bit of DLC for free

I hope their next project is project “get my smug head out of my ass” but I doubt it will happen since they’ll be too busy counting all that dosh from crazed fanboiz.
