Game Informer removes Wii-exclusive claim from Epic Mickey teaser
Here we go. As noticed by GoNintendo and Wired, Game Informer has altered its Epic Mickey teaser page to remove a claim that the game is a Wii exclusive.
The original claim of Wii exclusivity for the Junction Point project raised more than a few eyebrows, especially given the incoming spring release of Sony’s PS3 motion tech and the game’s “artwork” nature.
There’s the dream: cling on to it. A press event’s being held for the game in London on October 28, so we should know more then.

I doubt they just decided yesterday to make the game multiplatform based on feedback from people on the interwebs who have not seen one bitt of the actual game.

No, but they might’ve asked for the ‘exclusive’ tag to be removed to try and quell the backlash. I’ve seen far more negativity than positive reactions to the announcement. Without the tag, like Pat says, there is ‘hope’ – even if ultimately it’s still only coming out on the Wii.

I bet the Wii-exclusive mark will be in the paper version of GI. I think they might just had to remove it in order to have the “exclusive announcement” in the paper Game Informer.

I hope it comes to other platforms (if the game delivers) its motion controls could be a seller for the Sony/MS motion systems too.

Bring on Mickey the Mouse! Disney would be smart releasing this multi-platform. All the 360/PS3 male owners girlfriends/wives would have a must buy game!
