“Six Rocksteady babies were born during the development of Batman: Arkham Asylum”

batmanarkhamasylum4

More developers should do this. Game Informer’s published load of facts about Batman’s creation period, including the nugget that six babies were born to the team while it beavered away on the game.

Know what else? Titan Ivy consists of 44,674 polygons.

Get more tat through the link.

Don’t devs always show the born babies during the credits these days? I think it’s something started by Pixar.

Who was fathering all these babies while the guys were hard at work? Was it the same guy in each case? SCANDAL! :-D

If by “fathering” you mean who actually took part in the conceiving act, yeah, I kind of wondered about that myself Blerk :D

Joking aside, would it be selfish of me to wish the happy new parents even more crunch hours apart, as Rocksteady develops their next masterpiece?

Yeah, I’m pretty sure a lot of the games I’ve played to the credits these days have [devname] babies in the credits. And pets for some reason.
